Report on experiment on sizes of shoes [Cool]

Objective: To identify variances among sizes of shoes stated by different brands
Population: Myra's shoes at home
Sample size: 5
Instruments: Ruler

Procedures:
1. Judgementally select 5 pairs of shoes from population by brand.
2. Record size of each pair of shoes.
3. Measure length of right shoe for each pair in mm using ruler, taking the longest stretch.
4. Calculate length of shoes in cm vs size by simple division
5. Compare ratios computed among different brands of shoes.

Samples selected:
(A) Birkenstock (slippers)
(B) Converse (cloth sportshoes)
(C) Surf Rider (slippers)
(D) Couber. G (Casual leather shoes)
(E) Adidas (Sportshoes)

Result:
Sample - Size (Original, US size) / Length (in cm) / Ratio (cm per US size)
(A) - 32, 2 / 22cm / 11.00
(B) - 2, 2 / 22.8cm / 11.40
(C) - 5, 5 / 23.0cm / 4.60
(D) - 6, 5 / 23.5cm / 4.70
(E) - 4, 4 / 25.8cm / 6.45

Conclusion:
Sizes of shoes stated are not representative.

Adult size of course, kid size 2 is for baby ~,~
